Curracloe Rowing Club was proudly represented at the All Ireland Coastal Championships in Cork, with Ryan and Steph Corcoran flying the club flag on one of the biggest days on the coastal rowing calendar. Racing against crews from clubs across the country, both athletes put in the kind of performances that reflect a full season of hard training.
The pair came home with an impressive medal haul, a result that says as much about their preparation as it does about their nerve on the day. Championship racing brings out the best competition in the sport, and holding your own against that field takes real skill under pressure.
Well done to Ryan and Steph on a brilliant result, and thank you for representing Curracloe so well in Cork. Achievements like this give the whole club something to be proud of, and hopefully plenty of inspiration for anyone eyeing up next season's championships.
